ENGRAVED

Engraved signs can be cut from either the front or the back. Signs cut from the front are generally cut through a top layer of plastic to reveal a second contrasting layer of plastic. These signs are generally the most inexpensive available in small quantity. A second front cut plate is one made of a metal such as aluminum, brass, or stainless steel. These signs are usually filled with a paint of contrasting color to make the copy more visible. Back cut signs are usually cut from a clear material such as acrylic with a painted back face. The letters are reverse engraved and paint filled per your specifications. These signs are very attractive and can give a 3D effect

SCREENED

The screened signs can give the best detail and the best price for a large quantity of signs that are exactly the same. However in small quantity the screen preparation costs can be prohibitive.

VINYL DIE CUT

These signs are very desirable if you want particular computer generated graphics. The vinyl characters are cut from a plotter printer and are covered with a webbing to keep the copy in place. Then the adhesive is removed and with the webbing in place the copy is appplied to the material of your choice. This keeps all the graphics in place for your application. Since there are no screens to setup or presses to run these signs are very price competitive in small quantities.
